Toddler Program
From approximately 18 months - 3 years

In the Toddler program your child will be encouraged to explore their natural curiosity about the world.  We want them to take pleasure in learning in our safe environment.  Emphasis is placed on language development and self-help skills that build self esteem.  Your child will have fun interacting and learning from their peers.

The playroom is set up with a variety of learning centres for the children to explore.  The staff facilitates the children's free play in various area's throughout the playroom including a block corner, art area,  gross motor area, fine motor manipulatives area's, book corner, dramatic play area, table toys area's.  Staff will guide the children as they learn through their play experiences.

Our goal is to provide a safe and nurturing environment where every child can grow and develop to their full potential. Play is the main building block of our program. The toys and equipment allow for learning both through spontaneous and planned play. Play allows for open-ended exploration, developing skills, learning concepts, and learning from other children. The staff’s role is to encourage, guide, and provide opportunities for learning as well as modeling appropriate behaviours.
