Infant Program
6 months -18 months/2 years

Our infant program is based on the needs of each individual child.  We understand that for infants, every experience is a learning experience and they should be cared for in a warm, affectionate manner that lets them feel safe and secure in their environment and fosters a relationship of trust.

Your child will have their own eating and sleeping schedule in our infant program.  Attachments between staff and children are formed during daily routines like eating, diapering and sleep routines. These opportunities are time for one-on-one interaction.

The Infant program has two nap rooms, three play areas, eating area and outdoor play space. The children go outside daily on walks or playing in the playground.

Our goal is to provide a safe and nurturing environment where every child can grow and develop to their full potential. Play is the main building block of our program.  The toys and equipment allow for learning both through spontaneous and planned play.  Play allows for open-ended exploration, developing skills, learning concepts, and learning from other children.  The staff’s role is to encourage, guide, and provide opportunities for learning as well as modeling appropriate behaviours.
